He has a degree in Chemistry (2006), a Master's degree in Chemistry focused on Analytical Chemistry (2009), and a Ph.D. in Sciences, focused on Analytical Chemistry (2012) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He was a visiting doctoral researcher at the Complutense University of Madrid, and an academic visiting researcher at the University of Warwick in 2013. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo (2014). He is Adjunct Professor C, level 3, and head of the Laboratory of Sensors, Nanomedicine, and Nanostructured Materials (LSNano) at the Federal University of São Carlos, Araras campus. Also, he is a certified professor in the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology (PPGBiotec) and the Postgraduate Program of Materials Science (PPGCM-So) of the Federal University of São Carlos and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Sensors. He received an honorable mention in the Mercosul Award of Science and Technology 2017, in the young researcher category with the work "Electrochemical DNA sensor for detecting predisposition to breast cancer". He has experience in Chemistry and Biotechnology and his major research interests are the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, nanomaterials-modified electrodes, electrochemical biosensors, low-cost sensors, and 3D-printed sensors.

She completed her sandwich doctorate (BEPE-FAPESP), from May to October 2023, in the laboratory of Professor Craig E. Banks at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), in the United Kingdom.

He was a TEP (Tutorial Education Program) fellow (2015), a FAPESP undergraduate research fellow (2019), and a Ph.D. (2024) in Materials Science (PPGCM-So) of the Federal University of São Carlos, Sorocaba campus. He has experience in electroanalysis and his major research interests are electrocatalysts, disposable electrochemical sensors, conductive inks, 3D printing, and the development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Currently, he is a member of the Laboratory of Sensors, Nanomedicine, and Nanostructured Materials (LSNano), working in the area of electroanalytics, focusing on the development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bruno Campos Janegitz. He completed her sandwich doctorate (BEPE-FAPESP), from February to August 2023, in the laboratory of Professor Wolfgang Schuhmann at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), in Germany.
